In Saturday's non-league test, the host Duluth East Greyhounds soccer team scored a good 16-0 triumph over the Zimmerman Thunder.

With the triumph, Duluth East advances its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN) to clash with the Bluejackets in a Class AA Section 7 test on Wednesday, September 24. The Bluejackets come into the test with a record of 2-7. Cambridge-Isanti lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against North Branch (North Branch, MN)

The Thunder now have a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Becker for a Class A Section 6 bout on Tuesday, September 23. Zimmerman will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Willmar (Willmar, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
