In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting DuVal Tigers football squad scored a good 36-8 triumph over the High Point Eagles.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Flowers (Springdale, MD). The Jaguars come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Flowers was dropped by Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Eleanor Roosevelt for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. High Point will play a Raiders team coming off a 34-24 non-league win over Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
