With the win, Silver Lake improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 1. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-9.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Anderson County will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
