The Chavez Titans volleyball team (Stockton, CA), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA)
The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Downey (Modesto, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Downey was beaten by Pitman (Turlock, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
The Titans now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stagg for a test on Monday, September 22.
