The Costa Mesa Mustangs topped the host Irvine Vaqueros volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 20. Costa Mesa will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 9-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mountain View (El Monte, CA).

With the loss, Irvine drops to 0-1 on the campaign.
