The Baraboo Thunderbirds soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Delavan-Darien Comets to 1 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Saturday.
The Thunderbirds now hold a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Mills for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 20. Baraboo will face a L-Cats team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Central Wisconsin Christian (Waupun, WI). The L-Cats record now stands at 5-3.
The Comets (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kohler (Kohler, WI). The Blue Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Kohler held off St. Mary Catholic (Neenah, WI), 7-0, in a league contest.
