The Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN), 5-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Olympians now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Floyd Central for a Hoosier Hills challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Columbus East will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Castle (Newburgh, IN). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Batesville moves to 2-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Greensburg (Greensburg, IN) to battle the Pirates in a Eastern Indiana match on Wednesday, September 24. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 7-2.
