Mississinewa Indians (Gas City, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), 9-4 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mississinewa improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, September 22. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 2-9. Tippecanoe Valley lost 5-2 in their recent non-league game against Rochester (Rochester, IN)

The Bruins (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Wapahani (Selma, IN). The Raiders come into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Wapahani was overwhelmed by Delta (Muncie, IN), 9-0, in a non-league game.
