Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY), 3-2 in a non-league outing.

The Tigers (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Scotties go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Ballston Spa was tipped by Shaker (Latham, NY), 4-0, in a league test.

The Patriots now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Voorheesville for a non-league outing on Monday, September 22. Schenectady will play a Blackbirds squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY). The Blackbirds record now stands at 3-3.
