In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Coon Rapids Cardinals soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Rogers Royals.

The Cardinals (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Spring Lake Park by Andover (Andover, MN), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Royals now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Buffalo for a Class AA Section 8 test on Tuesday, September 23. Rogers will clash with a Bison team coming off a 1-1 league Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Bison record now stands at 8-0.
