Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), 3-1 in a league outing.

The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Wapahani (Selma, IN). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Wapahani got by Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN), 10-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Dragons confront the Mooresville Pioneers (Mooresville, IN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 23. New Palestine will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN).
