Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), 1-0 in a non-league outing.

The Tigers (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Orion/Sherrard (Orion, IL). The United go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Orion/Sherrard got by DePue/Hall (DePue, IL), 4-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) in a Mid-Illini outing, on Tuesday, September 23. East Peoria will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 13-0 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Normal University (Normal, IL).
