Sodus Spartans (Sodus, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Midlakes Screaming Eagles (Clifton Springs, NY), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Sodus advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Gananda Central (Walworth, NY) to play the Blue Panthers in a Wayne outing on Wednesday, September 24. The Blue Panthers go into the outing with a record of 6-3. Gananda Central won 8-0 in their recent league outing against Marion (Marion, NY)

Next up, the Screaming Eagles play the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) in a Finger Lakes - East outing, on Thursday, September 25. Midlakes will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
