Nebraska High School Softball - Staley edges Lincoln North Star

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Staley Falcons softball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Lincoln North Star Navigators.
The Falcons (10-7) will now prepare for their game against Millard South (Omaha, NE). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 10-12 record. In their last game, Millard South edged Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE), 5-4, in a non-league game.
The Navigators now hold a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millard South for a A District match on Monday, September 22. Lincoln North Star will battle a Patriots team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Staley (Kansas City, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 11-13.
