The Staley Falcons softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Millard South Patriots to 1 in the Falcons non-league win on Saturday.

The Falcons now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Raymore-Peculiar for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Staley will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Millard South moves to 11-13 on the season. The Patriots host Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Navigators in a A District challenge on Monday, September 22. The Navigators go into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Lincoln North Star lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Staley (Kansas City, MO)
