Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) and the visiting Agricultural Science Cyclones (Chicago, IL), observed Crete-Monee's volleyball team hold off Agricultural Science by a count of 2-1.

The Warriors (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers go into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Coal City tipped Peotone (Peotone, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Cyclones now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Agricultural Science will encounter a Sabers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Watseka (Watseka, IL). The Sabers record now stands at 8-2.
