With the win, Aplington-Parkersburg improves its record to 18-5 on the season. The Falcons host Hudson (Hudson, IA) to face the Pirates in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 18-7. Hudson lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Denver (Denver, IA)

The Cougars now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host South Hardin for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. AGWSR will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
