Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) and the visiting GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA), observed AGWSR's volleyball team top GMG by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, South Hardin was knocked off by Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Wolverines now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarksville for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. GMG will face a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA). The Indians record now stands at 1-14.
