In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Andes Central/Dakota Christian .
The Huskies (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers come into the A Region 4 challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Sioux Falls Christian edged Vermillion (Vermillion, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the meet the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks (Armour, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Andes Central/Dakota Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD).
