The Indianola Indians volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Ankeny Hawks to 0 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now have a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pella Christian for a Little Hawkeye game on Tuesday, September 23. Indianola will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-8.

The Hawks (19-6) will now prepare for their game against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Southeast Polk was dropped by Northwest (Waukee, IA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
