Georgia High School Volleyball - Athens Academy over South Paulding

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) and the visiting South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA), observed Athens Academy's volleyball team top South Paulding by a count of 2-0.

The Spartans (19-9) will now prepare for their contest against Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league contest with a 26-7 record. In their last contest, Allatoona achieved victory over Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now own a 17-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. South Paulding will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Atlanta Classical Academy (Atlanta, GA). The Knights record now stands at 6-14.
