In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Barneveld Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the New Glarus Glarner Knights.

The Eagles (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Albany (Albany, WI). The Comets come into the Six Rivers - Eastern challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Albany was edged by Argyle (Argyle, WI), 3-0, in a league test.

The Glarner Knights now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cambridge for a Capitol - South test on Tuesday, September 23. New Glarus will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI). The Bluejays record now stands at 14-6.
