Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Bethlehem Catholic over Pleasant Valley

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA) and the visiting Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA), observed Bethlehem Catholic's volleyball team top Pleasant Valley by a count of 2-0.

The Hawks (11-0) will now prepare for their battle against Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA). The Mountaineers go into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Stroudsburg dropped by Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Bears now own a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Pleasant Valley will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Liberty (Bethlehem, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 12-4.
