Tennessee High School Volleyball - Blackman tips St. Agnes Academy

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Blackman Blaze (Murfreesboro, TN) and the host St. Agnes Academy Stars (Memphis, TN), saw Blackman's volleyball squad nudge St. Agnes Academy by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Blackman improves its record to 14-6 on the season. The Blaze travel to Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN) to encounter the Honeybears in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Honeybears go into the battle with a record of 7-7. Harpeth Hall lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN)

The Stars now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Briarcrest Christian for a D-II AA West Region battle on Tuesday, September 23. St. Agnes Academy will battle a Saints team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, TN). The Saints record now stands at 18-6.
