In Saturday's non-league match, the Boyden-Hull Comets (Hull, IA) volleyball team overcame the host Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA), by a count of 2-0.

The Comets (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, MOC-Floyd Valley was knocked off by Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Le Mars will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Black Raiders go into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA).
