Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) and the visiting Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY), observed McCracken County's volleyball team top Breckinridge County by a count of 2-0.

The Mustangs (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Community Christian (Paducah, KY). The Warriors enter the District 2 contest with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Community Christian dropped by Mayfield (Mayfield, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Fighting Tigers now own a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster County for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Breckinridge County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 9-2.
