Ohio High School Volleyball - Union Local tips Buckeye Trail

The Union Local Jets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Buckeye Trail Warriors to 2 in the Jets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Jets now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Bellaire for a Buckeye 8 outing on Monday, September 22. Union Local will play a Big Reds team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH). The Big Reds record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Buckeye Trail drops to 10-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Inter Valley North game on Tuesday, September 23. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 10-4. Strasburg-Franklin lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH)
