In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants.

The Mustangs (13-1) will now prepare for their test against New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN). The Greyhounds go into the Tomahawk challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, New Ulm Cathedral was beaten by St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Giants meet the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen (Edgerton, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Le Sueur-Henderson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Flying Dutchmen come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN).
