Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY) and the host Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), observed Bullitt Central's volleyball team hold off Caldwell County by a tally of 2-1.

The Cougars (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY). The Eagles enter the District 23 test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, North Bullitt tipped Moore (Louisville, KY), 2-0, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Livingston Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Caldwell County will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-10.
