Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Burlington can't hold off Fond du Lac

In Saturday's non-league match, the Fond du Lac Cardinals (Fond du Lac, WI) volleyball squad tipped the host Burlington Demons (Burlington, WI), by a count of 2-1.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Menomonee Falls Phoenix (Menomonee Falls, WI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 20. Fond du Lac will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Phoenix go into the battle with a 12-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Brookfield Central (Brookfield, WI).

The Demons now own a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkhorn for a Southern Lakes battle on Tuesday, September 23. Burlington will encounter a Elks squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Westosha Central (Salem, WI). The Elks record now stands at 9-8.
