In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Winter Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Butternut Midgets.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Flambeau (Tony, WI). The Falcons enter the Lakeland - East challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Flambeau beat Lake Holcombe (Holcombe, WI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Midgets face the Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles (Hayward, WI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Butternut will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Butternut (Butternut, WI).
