The Carlisle County Comets volleyball squad (Bardwell, KY), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY)

The Colonels (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Marshals enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Marshall County notched a victory over Calloway County (Murray, KY), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Comets now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Carlisle County will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 7-10.
