The Carlisle County Comets volleyball squad (Bardwell, KY), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY)
The Maroons (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Storm go into the District 7 battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Hopkins County Central dropped by Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Comets now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Ballard Memorial for a non-league contest on Monday, September 22. Carlisle County will meet a Bombers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Murray (Murray, KY). The Bombers record now stands at 17-7.
