Georgia High School Volleyball - Midtown tips Central

September 20, 2025: Carrollton, GA 30116

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Midtown Knights (Atlanta, GA) and the host Central Lions (Carrollton, GA), observed Midtown's volleyball team hold off Central by a tally of 2-1.

The Knights (25-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lovett (Atlanta, GA). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 22-1 record. In their last challenge, Lovett got by McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) in a 4A Area 3 challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 26-9 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 4-15 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA).
