In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Centralia Orphans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Metro-East Lutheran Knights.
The Orphans (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last test, East Peoria went down by Washington (Washington, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
The Knights now sport a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Peoria for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Metro-East Lutheran will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Washington (Washington, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-5.
