Kansas High School Volleyball - Clifton-Clyde can't hold off Chapman

In Saturday's non-league match, the Chapman Irish (Chapman, KS) volleyball team held off the host Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS), by a margin of 2-1.

The Irish now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Phillipsburg for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 25. Chapman will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 0-0 league Smith Center (Smith Center, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Clifton-Clyde drops to 6-10 on the year. The Eagles host Republic County (Belleville, KS) to battle the Buffaloes in a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. The Buffaloes enter the match with a record of 3-8. Republic County lost 2-1 in their recent league match against Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS)
