In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Chapman Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Council Grove Braves.

The Irish (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Clifton-Clyde lost by Hanover (Hanover, KS), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Braves face the Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Council Grove will attempt to advance on its 0-14 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 3-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hanover (Hanover, KS).
