Stafford Trojans (Stafford, KS) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Chase Kats (Chase, KS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans (4-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Macksville (Macksville, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Macksville lost by Larned (Larned, KS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Kats meet the Kinsley Coyotes (Kinsley, KS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Chase will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Coyotes go into the test with a 7-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Moscow (Moscow, KS).
