The Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canoga Park for a non-league match on Saturday, September 20.
The Desert Shields (4-13) will now prepare for their match against Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Virgin Valley was outscored by Pine View (St. George, UT), 3-1, in a non-league match.
