In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Shenandoah Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Clarke Indians.

The Mustangs (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Atlantic was tipped by Clarinda (Clarinda, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Chariton Chargers (Chariton, IA) in a South Central outing, on Tuesday, September 23. Clarke will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Chargers come into the outing with a 8-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Albia (Albia, IA).
