The Valencia Vikings edged the host Cleveland Cavaliers volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 20. Valencia will attempt to advance on its 12-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 11-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA).
The Cavaliers (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Patriots come into the West Valley outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Birmingham was nudged by Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
