In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Rayne Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Comeaux Spartans.
The Wolves (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Lafayette was defeated by Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Church Point for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Comeaux will meet a Bears team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA). The Bears record now stands at 3-6.
