Utah High School Volleyball - Skutt Catholic can't hold off Corner Canyon

In Saturday's non-league bout, the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) volleyball team held off the visiting Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE), by a margin of 2-1.

The Chargers now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lehi for a 6A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, September 23. Corner Canyon will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to American Fork (American Fork, UT). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Skutt Catholic drops to 12-5 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Mercy (Omaha, NE) to battle the Monarchs in a B District 2 match on Tuesday, September 23. The Monarchs enter the match with a record of 3-9. Mercy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Concordia (Omaha, NE)
