Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) and the visiting Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL), observed St. Bede's volleyball team top Cornerstone Christian by a count of 2-0.

The Bruins (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Serena (Serena, IL). The Huskers go into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Serena achieved victory over Leland (Leland, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Cyclones now own a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heyworth for a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. Cornerstone Christian will battle a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 league win over Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 14-3.
