Kansas High School Volleyball - Council Grove Republic County

Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Republic County improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Clifton-Clyde lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Hanover (Hanover, KS)

Next, the Braves meet the Osage City Indians (Osage City, KS) in a Flint Hills challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Council Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS).
