In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Cove Leopards volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Umatilla Vikings.

The Leopards (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR). The Eagles come into the 1A Old Oregon challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Nixyaawii Community was beaten by Griswold (Helix, OR), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Sherman Huskies (Moro, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Umatilla will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Bickleton (Bickleton, WA).
