In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lauderdale County Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Curry Yellowjackets.

The Tigers (21-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Clements (Athens, AL). The Colts come into the 3A Area 16 challenge with a 7-18 record. In their last challenge, Clements beat Colbert County (Leighton, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets play the McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 23. Curry will attempt to advance on its 17-8 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a 5-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL).
