In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Muscatine Muskies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Danville Bears.

The Muskies (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 4-16 record. In their last challenge, Davenport North was tipped by Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 22. Danville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IA).
