The Olympia Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Decatur Eisenhower Panthers to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now have a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Bede for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. Olympia will play a Bruins team coming off a 2-0 league win over Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 9-5.
The Panthers (3-17) will now prepare for their game against Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Flanagan-Cornell went down by Heyworth (Heyworth, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
