Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) and the visiting Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), observed Des Moines's volleyball team top Hot Springs by a tally of 3-0.

The Demons (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Demons go into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Dexter achieved victory over Hagerman (Hagerman, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cimarron for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Hot Springs will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM). The Rams record now stands at 2-6.
